A sense of wonder at the beauty of our planet informs my inspiration and through that the desire to treasure and protect our delicate environment.

Drawing inspiration from the great painters of light I'm trying in my paintings to achieve a sense of 'being there' and through that the contemplation of something more - beyond the subject itself, no boundaries...the search for who I am and my connection with that landscape or environment is what drives me to paint, a kind of distillation of concept, emotion and the play of light.
